I have known Rajesh since 2005 when I first started to imbibe exercise as a routine. Rajesh was my first trainer and little did I know that he is the only one who I trust when it comes to my fitness. He always set achievable goals but hard enough to push one through to get those stiff muscles working. My fitness time and schedule is not just for the mind, it is a stress buster, and a avenue to understand my body better to truly find the balance of mind and body. 15 years later here we are still connected, and it just shows that we have stood the test of time. I joined AR Couple's Fitness Studio with weight of 106 kgs . When i am joining i wasn't sure how am i gonna lose my weight . I was drained mentally and physically . Rajesh Sir & Athulya Mam were my life savers . They knew what was needed for me & also what i needed . I never knew it can be easily done with the right level of training they proved me anything can be possible , with the help of rajesh sir training and athulya mam diet i got such miraculous result which was shown just in 6 months ( From 106 kgs to 76 kgs ) I lost 30kgs all thanks to them . since they customise the diet according to you and your preference , it wasn't that hard to follow it . Regarding training and dieting I did learn a lot from sir and mam which was knowledgeable and informative . You get motivated always with the help of their encouragement to push hard , rajesh sir and athulya mam makes sure that we lose weight healthily possible & helps us to maintain it . AR Couple’s Fitness Centre is very different from other centres I have been to. From the very first moment I stepped inside the centre I felt a sense of walking into a rejuvenation centre. The decor - which was like an 80s house, the way the exercise equipments were laid out - well spaced out - and the music that played - I lift weights Raja’s melodies or Deva’s gaanas or ARR’s rhythms or any music of my choice as opposed to heavy metal and hip hop music blasting - were all strikingly different from conventional gymnasiums.
All these were different because the trainers’, Athulya and Rajesh, philosophy is different. The focus is on wellness and not on losing weight or pumping muscles. Rajesh tells me regularly “Weight is merely a number. You can lose weight but that does not mean you will be healthy. Focus on health and well being and weight loss will eventually happen”. He not only says this but goes to great lengths to imbibe this culture and thought into his clients. He focusses a lot on the things I do outside the centre - from when I eat, what I eat to when I sleep and wake up and the quality of the day I had. This helps me to understand myself and my lifestyle better which helps me to get healthy.
The workout plans are simply mind boggling. Everyday I come to exercise I am in for a surprise. I do not have a chart with a fixed routine. He checks with me my willingness to train at that moment and trains me accordingly and every single day I step out of the gym feeling well worked out and looking forward to coming back the next day excitingly expecting what work out awaits me. Fitness is not something confined to gymnasiums. Fitness is a way of life and AR Couple’s Fitness Centre helps me to practice it. I highly recommend AR Couples Fitness Centre to anyone who wants to journey towards a healthy lifestyle.

I have trained under Athulya for over 5 years now and one of the things I like the most about training under her is the attention to personalisation. Whatever the client’s needs they are able to deliver the desired results successfully. I have trained under her after gaining weight post an injury due to an accident as well as after my first pregnancy and both times she was able to get me back to where I wanted to be. Not just me, I also have a few family members training under Athulya and Rajesh, who have seen miraculous outcomes training with them. Also, in AR studio they do not focus on just a short term benefit rather their approach to fitness is holistic and bring about a slow and complete transformation in our lifestyle that leaves a long lasting impact.
